Laina Lloyd, founder of Laina’s Corner, is a mother of 4, step-mom, and grandmother to 11 beautiful grandchildren. She grew up in Boise Idaho, was married at the age of 21 and began her family when she was 22. Because of a mother who taught Laina the importance of living a well balanced and healthy life, Laina chose to home-birth her children and became an avid student of natural home remedies, reiki, aromatherapy, and alkaline foods.

As a home-schooling mother to her four children, Laina often felt guided through the challenges of motherhood by learning hidden messages in her dreams and those of her children. Carl Jung once said, “Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart…Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens.” By looking inward through her dreams, Laina began to realize that her purpose was to be a guide and teacher using her knowledge and enthusiasm to strengthen and inspire others. She is committed to teaching people how to change their lives by using therapeutic essential oils, healthy living habits, and understanding dream messages.

Since 1998 Laina has been an Independent Distributor with Young Living Essential Oils, world leaders in essential oils.  Laina facilitates workshops and classes on health and wellness while sharing the benefits of the Young Living products.

In 2011 Laina became a Reiki Master Teacher. Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. She has taught Reiki workshops to several students, a calling that has brought her joy and gratitude.

Laina is currently a facilitator with OLLI, Osher Life Long Learning Institute, at Yavapai College. There she teaches classes and facilitates workshops on wellness with the use of essential oils, emotional releasing, meditation and understanding dreams through dream interpretations. She has also been a member of the International Association for the Study of Dreams, a non-profit, international, multidisciplinary organization dedicated to the pure and applied investigation of dreams and dreaming.

In December of 2013, Laina earned the Distinguished Toastmaster award, the highest award presented by Toastmasters International. Toastmasters is a non-profit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs.

Laina’s recent accomplishment is the release of her book Do Butterflies Dream? a guide book for understanding dreams and visions. Her book is available in soft cover or e-book at Abbott Press. By exploring the pages in this book you too may discover key symbols and hidden messages from the magical world of dreams.
